watercolor Studies

At the beginning of my watercolor journey, I had a lot of guidance from my mother JuliAnne Jonker who is also an artist in MN. I also had some books to learn from and had studied art in school a bit. For me, I learn the most when I have the medium in hand and study another piece - trying different techniques and seeing if I can figure out how to recreate something beautiful. Here are a few of my first watercolor studies.
